Campus Crib
Help centre
Short answers for students looking around FUTA, and for agents listing lodges.
For students
- Do I pay Campus Crib for the lodge?
- No. Rent, caution, and agreement go to the landlord or their agent. Campus Crib does not collect those.
- What is the ₦2,000 for?
- That is the inspection fee when you go to see a lodge listed here. It is not a booking fee and it is not part of your rent.
- Can I inspect more than one lodge?
- Yes. Each inspection is ₦2,000 with that listing’s agent, unless they tell you they will show two rooms in the same compound as one visit. Confirm before you leave campus.
- The agent wants more than ₦2,000 to show the room.
- That is not how listings on this site are supposed to work. Do not pay the extra, and report the listing.
- I am a fresher. Which gate should I pick?
- It depends on your faculty and how far you want to walk. Filter by gate, check the distance on the card, and inspect before you pay. Seniors in your department are often the best people to ask about a particular street.
For agents and landlords
- How do I get a lodge on the site?
- Read Become an agent or List a property, then WhatsApp us with the area, yearly rent, and photos.
- Do you take a cut of rent?
- No. Students contact you on WhatsApp. Your arrangement with the landlord stays yours.
