Inspection policy

Around FUTA, agents commonly charge to take you to a lodge. On this site that charge is ₦2,000. You pay the agent when you inspect, in cash or transfer as you both agree that day.

• It is not paid to Campus Crib online.
• It does not reserve the room.
• It is not deducted from rent if you later take the lodge, unless the landlord says so in writing.

You should see the actual room in the listing, not a “similar” one in another compound. Ask to see the bathroom, kitchen (if shared), meter, and water source. Check the street you will walk at night back from your faculty.

An agent listed here should not add a “gate fee,” “fuel,” or a second inspection charge for the same visit. If they do, leave and report the listing. We will follow up with that agent.

If you want the room, agree rent, caution, agreement, and the start date with the landlord or agent. Get a receipt. Campus Crib is not a party to that payment.
